Are electronic signatures legally binding?
Nigeria's Evidence Act recognises electronic signatures. Whether a particular document is enforceable depends on the document and circumstances, so seek legal advice for high-risk agreements. Signilo records signer identity, time, IP address, and device details where available.
Do my signers need a Signilo account?
No. Recipients get a signing link and can review and sign from any device with a browser. They do not need to install an app or create an account.
How is Signilo different from DocuSign?
Signilo defaults to NGN pricing and phone-first signing pages. Smart Onboarding returns submitted answers with the signed PDF. Signing links can also arrive through WhatsApp, and Growth customers can connect their own business number.
Can I migrate from DocuSign or another tool?
Upload existing PDFs and save approved documents as templates. Our team can help move larger sets of documents.
Is my data secure?
Production storage is encrypted at rest and TLS protects files in transit. Company access keeps customer records separate, and document pages do not use advertising trackers.
What payment methods do you accept?
NGN invoices support bank transfer, card and USSD. Companies can also pay a Signilo invoice directly from their bank. USD invoices are available when needed.
